EIFFEL partner Prodevelop and more specifically our colleagues Jose Antonio Clemente and Amelia del Rey assisted in the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) user workshop, organized by CAMS in cooperation with the Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET).
The workshop took place on the 13th of June 2023, the first day of the CAMS General Assembly celebrated in Valencia, and the EIFFEL project was highly promoted.
More particularly, networking was leveraged to meet the main actors of CAMS, share experiences and seek advice in terms of achieving the goals (KPIs) as well as to engage as CAM users in the EIFFEL project. Furthermore, our partners had the chance to converse with other companies and organizations about the project and Pilot 3: Infrastructure & Transport Management.
Almost 100 people attended the workshop (i.e. AEMET, ECMWF, EUMESAT, Copernicus, DLR) and the feedback was indeed fruitful however, the highlight of the day was the fact that the director of AEMET in charge of CAMS was already informed about the EIFFEL project due to his previous experience of working in GEOSS.
Within the framework of raising further awareness of the EIFFEL project, 50 flyers of the EIFFEL project were distributed in the workshop and the event was also promoted through the Prodevelop website.
