Our Eiffel partner Balearic Port Authority (BPA) in partnership with two (2) EIFFEL partners Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV) and PRODEVELOP presented Pilot 3: Infrastructure & Transport Management at the 5th edition of the PIANC Mediterranean Days (26-27 October), which was preceded by the 13th French conference called « Port of the Future » (25-26 October). The events was co-organized by the French Section of PIANC and Cerema in Sète (Occitanie, France).
More specifically, our colleague Cristina Alburquerque Otero had the opporunity to showcase EIFFEL’s Pilot 3 results to the PIANC community (The World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure), introducing how can ports and maritime infrastructures mitigate Climate Change using GEOSS data.
Approximately 170 to 240 participants were participating each day and more specifically ports managers, ports operators, researchers, policy makers, from Government (ministry and regional), ports, innovative SMEs, research centres, training institutions, European sea ports organization and universities.
